While most of our efforts are entirely volunteer-based, we have found that on certain matters it is important to hire legal and technical experts to substantiate our inputs to County policy.
In particular, we anticipate that when the Draft Environmental Impact Report is released we will need hire a law firm to provide a legal opinion on its compliance with the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). As such, we are raising funds to be able to hire lawyers and experts to support our ongoing efforts.
