COMPARISON OF CANNABIS RULES BY COUNTY

Comments on the Comparison Chart

• Yolo County, the most similar demographically to Sonoma County, yet even with less density (50% less populated per square mile) provides better setbacks (1,000K  ft)

• Outdoor cultivation is prohibited in Marin and Napa Counties

• Sonoma County is the only Bay area county to permit outdoor cultivation

• Setback rules in Yolo and Santa Barbara counties (1,000 to 1,500ft) are disputed and  in litigation as inadequate

• Events are prohibited in all counties

• Find additional comparison figures in the attachment on the “backup tab”

• “Controlled ag” is not a term or concept used in the state of California
