The Board of Supervisor took a straw vote on the new proposed Cannabis rules. Find below their vote on each provision. The final vote will occur at a subsequent meeting, likely Dec 9th.
If you are disturbed by these decisions, contact your Supervisors immediately and tell them so. The reported decisions were based on a straw vote which is not final. We’re hoping some of them might realize their own confusion about what staff was recommending and what the Supervisors actually wanted to accomplish. It would be courageous of them to take another look, acknowledge their error or errors, and decide not to follow the straw vote. We hope that after further reflection, they have that kind of insight and courage.
